Wineboarding

My friend Matt and I (top) invented Wineboarding. A few weeks a go we gave it a trial run and decided that, yes, drinking wine while skateboarding down a parking structure was not only possible, it was fun. Two weeks later we "hosted" the second event. Expecting only a handful of people to turn out for such a strange event, you can imagine our delight when twenty-five of us, skateboards and wineglasses in hand, took off on the first run of the night (bottom). This was probably the best Thursday ever.

Honest Nervous Lovers

This is a wonderful movie. Interesting that there are very few male characters (and for other reasons too). My favorite part? When Penelope Cruz sings-- though I don't think it's really her singing-- the incredibly powerful "Volver".
